Mardan Award, Mardan Center of Educational Therapy

The Mardan Award was presented to Henry by the Mardan Center of Educational Therapy in 1977. The Mardan School is a non-profit institution in Southern California that seeks to fulfill the educational needs of children in Orange County. Since 1962, The Mardan School’s mission has been to support bright children whose emotional, social, behavioral, and/or learning difficulties have impacted their ability to succeed in typical school settings. Henry’s commitment to special needs children in his community garnered the attention of the Mardan School who chose to give him this distinction.
