Julius Shulman Communication Award, Woodbury University
Henry Segerstrom was honored with the 2008 Julius Schulman Communication Award by Woodbury University. Judged by Shulman and his committee, the award is presented annually to an individual, determined as one who thoroughly understands the essentials of objective and qualitative communication. Julius Schulman was a famed architectural photographer who founded the Julius Schulman Institute at Woodbury University in 2005. Schulman was also Henry’s friend and colleague, developing a small body of work photographing both South Coast Plaza and the campus of the Segerstrom Center for Arts.
